How do I book a flight?
Flights can be booked online on www.flyarystan.com, via FlyArystan mobile App, our Contact Centre and Authorized Travel Agents.
However, we strongly recommend booking tickets in the FlyArystan mobile app or on the website and paying less.

You can purchase a ticket online. To do this, during the booking process, after entering the passenger's details, select the "Special Assistance" option. More detailed information is available here.
I am traveling with a pet. Can I purchase a ticket on the website?
You can purchase your ticket on the website, but to transport pets on FlyArystan flights, you need to notify your travel agent or send the information to us at special.services@flyarystan.com no later than 24 hours before your flight's departure.
Is it mandatory to book a ticket for an infant?
A ticket must be issued for an infant in order to comply with safety requirements. Infants under the age of 2 are added to the booking for free, without a seat being provided. You can find more details at the following link.
How do I purchase a ticket for an infant?
A separate ticket for an infant will not be issued. You can add an infant when purchasing tickets for an adult directly through the FlyArystan mobile app or on the website www.flyarystan.com.

What document should I use when buying a child's ticket online?
At the airport, you must show either the original birth certificate or an electronic version from the e-gov portal to confirm the parent accompanying the child.
If another adult is traveling with the child, you’ll need to provide an original or electronic authorization letter with a QR code. This letter must be issued by one parent through the "E-notariat" portal and signed by a notary.
How should a child's first name or last name (surname) be entered in Latin letters when purchasing a ticket?
Tickets for children are issued based on the details of their passport or birth certificate. Passport details are already written in Latin letters. Due to birth certificates being written in Cyrillic, it is recommended that customers match the spelling of the first name and last name (surname) to that of the parents' first name and last name (surname). If the child's last name (surname) differs, align the spelling of the name and surname in Latin letters using any online translator.
Can children between the ages of 16-17 fly alone?
Passangers 16 years or older can travel solo during day-time flights. Children over 16 but under 18 will not be allowed to travel on overnight flights (23:00 to 6:00).
What documents are required when purchasing tickets for an unaccompanied minor?
For the minor: 1) Birth Certificate 2) Passport (for international flights) 3) For international flights, it is necessary to have a notarized consent from both parents, adoptive parents, or legal guardians allowing the minor to travel outside of Kazakhstan. This document must specify the travel dates and the destination country/countries that the minor will be traveling to.
For the adult responsible of the child at drop-off: 1) a personal ID 2) the original notarized authorization document allowing the hand-over of the minor to the designated responsible person 3) after the purchase of the ticket and confirmation of service, you will receive an email with a link to a PDF form, which must be filled out in adance and also printed.
For the adult meeting child at destination: A personal ID.
Is consent required for unaccompanied minors traveling internationally if one parent is dropping off the child and the other parent will be picking up the child?

How can I purchase a seat for a child traveling under the "Unaccompanied Minors" service?
The child will be assigned a seat in the last row of the flight in order to allow flight attendants to keep a better eye out on the child during the flight.
Is consent required when an unaccompanied minor will be traveling internationally, if the parents are divorced?
If the child is traveling with one parent, consent from the other parent is not required.
However, if the child is traveling alone, consent from both parents is necessary. Additionally, for passengers under 16 years old, the "Unaccompanied Minors" service is required. You can find more details at the following link.
Will the notarized document/consent to travel need to be translated to another language?
Yes, the notarized consent to travel document will need to be translated to English.
I can't find flight options on the website: the message "No flights found" appears. What should I do?
You may be looking for tickets for dates when there are no flights available. Please check the flight calendar and try to search again.
Why do I need to provide a phone number and email when buying a ticket?
We will send a booking confirmation to the email address you provided when booking your ticket and we will also inform you in a timely manner if there are any changes to the flight.
How long do I have to pay for my reservation?
Your reservation will be held for 1 hour in order to complete payment.
How will I receive my ticket if I purchased it online?
When you purchase a ticket on the website, you will be instructed to fill in your passanger data and specify your email. We will send a booking confirmation to this email after the payment has been completed. The itinerary receipt with all of the information about your booking and flight can be downloaded in the "Manage My Booking" portion of the website.
The payment was successfully completed but ticket has not been issued. What should I do?
Please call the Contact Center by +7 727 331 10 10 or contact us by flyarystan.com/emailus, alternatively, you can use FlyArystan live cha in the FlyArystan app, and present your bank card details: the first 6 and the last 4 digits of the card number and the amount that has been withdrawn, full names of the passengers, the flight dates, and the destinations.
I have not received the booking confirmation. What should I do?
First, check your spam folder — tickets may accidentally end up there. If you didn't find anything there, write to our chat on the website or in the FlyArystan mobile app. You need to provide the details of the bank card: the first 6 and the last 4 digits of the card number, as well as the amount debited, the full names of the passengers, dates and destination.
Do I need to print out my e-ticket before traveling?
You will not be required to present a printed ticket during check-in or boarding, as all information is stored electronically. A valid ID (passport, birth certificate, or a power of attorney if the child is not traveling with a parent) is sufficient for boarding the flight.
What time is indicated when purchasing a ticket — local time or Astana time?
The website always displays the local time of the departure and arrival cities. For example, if you are flying from Aktau at 14:05, the time shown corresponds to Aktau's local time. Arrival in Almaty at 16:20 will be indicated in Almaty's local time. If you see the note “+1” when purchasing a ticket, it means the arrival will be on the next day.
