Traveling with children and infants

To prevent unauthorized individuals from illegally transporting children, adults traveling with children at the airport must provide a document confirming their legal right to transport the child, particularly:

  • The original birth certificate or an electronic document from the E-gov portal as proof that the child belongs to one of the parents;
  • The original birth certificate and an original power of attorney or an electronic power of attorney with a QR code (executed through the portal "E-notary" and signed with an electronic signature of a notary) to verify the authenticity of the document issued by one of the parents for the carriage of the child by an accompanying adult passenger.
  • For international flights, the child must have a personal passport. It is also necessary to provide the original birth certificate of the child or an electronic document from the e-gov portal to verify the status of the accompanying parent(s).

*The requirement to submit the original power of attorney remains in effect if it is issued without a QR code and signed by both the principal and notary with a handwritten signature.

Passengers with children/infants can use the online check-in service on the website or FlyArystan mob app, including receiving boarding passes. Verification of the original birth certificate and/or document for the child will be carried out at the boarding gate.

Passengers with children/infants are not allowed to take seats in emergency rows (rows 12-13) due to safety regulations.
