How to get from the airport to the city center?

Khazret Sultan International Airport is located 16 kilometers from the city center.

The city center can be reached by taxi from 3000 to 6000 tenge.

Must-visit places of Turkistan

  • Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi. The main attraction of the city, an architectural monument, erected at the behest of Emir Timur in 1405.
  • Arystanbaba mausoleum. Mausoleum of the teacher Khoja Ahmed Yasavi, one of the holiest places in the Turkistan region.
  • Mausoleum of Rabigi Sultan Begim. An architectural monument of the 15th century, built in honor of the wife of Abulkhair - khan.
  • Eastern bath. The bathhouse, built in 1580-1590, was intended for pilgrims, now it functions for everyone.
  • Ancient settlement Kultobe. Archaeological remains of an ancient city that served as a religious and commercial center of the Great Silk Road.
  • Keruen - Saray. New tourist complex. Here you can watch a water show with elements of fire, have dinner in cozy cafes, a theater, and go shopping.
